Our Probes for Microwave Environments

Our probes are designed to handle electromagnetic and radiation immune, perfect for the demand needs of the Microwave industry.

OSENSA’s optical temperature probes for microwave environments are constructed from Teflon jacketing materials for maximum chemical and bio-compatibility, or from rugged stainless steel and high-temperature ceramics.

Both PRB-G20 and G40 are constructed with high quality glass optical fiber and can handle temperatures up to 350°C while providing extremely fast response times.

Our Sensors for Microwave Environments

Fiber optic temperature sensors are inherently immune to microwave radiation and high-frequency electromagnetic radiation and can commonly used in the following microwave industries :

Food processing and drying
Microwave kilns for glass fusing
Paper, textile, or wood drying
sintering ceramics and dental appliances
microwave sterilization

OSENSA develops fiber optic temperature probes that can be tailored for a variety of industrial microwave oven and microwave kiln applications. OSENSA's technology also permits short distance non-contact optical temperature measurement and can measure temperatures in excess of 400°C.
