OSENSA’s FTX-911-PWR+R fiber optic temperature transmitters provide continuous real-time thermal monitoring for switchgears, busbars, breakers, cables, motors, and generators in both medium and low voltage electrical equipment rated from 400V to 38kV. The device reports both absolute temperature and rise over ambient temperature using either a fixed ambient reference or selected reference channel. OSENSA’s fiber optic temperature sensors are more accurate, more reliable, and demonstrate a lower overall cost of ownership compared to infrared and wireless sensing technologies, making the FTX-911-PWR+R the premier choice for continuous thermal monitoring in mission critical applications. The device includes two programmable 2A relays for local alarming on temperature thresholds or phase differentials.
